  • I am returning to the Platform! 21 weeks out - Bench 9.8.2019

    It's been a long time since I've posted anything formal regarding my training because well, it hasn't been anything to write home about.  In April, I found out I had torn my IT band during a fluke incident where a small child ran under me while I was squatting. I've since taken 3 months off of squatting and deadlifting to recover.  I am now healthy enough to rebuild and think about getting back to competing. I have registered for the Hybrid Showdown Feb 1-2, 2020 in Miami, FL.  Time to get to work.
  • A New Venture

    Hi guys! I am very excited to be joining Paul here at Master Athletic as a coach and writer. Paul is someone I have a ton of respect for. He's a great lifter, coach, friend, influence, mentor and he's helped me grow a ton both in and out of the gym.
  • Paul Oneid - Hella Squattin'

    Squat session today went really well.  The weights were manageable and I felt pretty decent throughout.  A glaring area of focus will be my mid back.  I need to do a better job of engaging my lats/ rhomboids on the SSB and front squats to keep me more upright.
  • Paul Oneid - New Beginnings

    Brian was one of the first lifters I idolized in this sport and to now call him a close friend is pretty friggen cool.  Brian gave me a platform, encouraged me to write and helped me every step of the way.  Not to mention, being a part of PRS has introduced me to so many truly awesome people, many of whom I call close friends.  I attribute a lot of what I have accomplished as a coach and lifter to him.  So, thank you, B
