Here’s the thing: Your metabolism isn’t broken. It’s just mismatched with your current routine, stress, nutrition, and lifestyle.
Your metabolism is adaptive. It adjusts to the inputs you give it over time — whether that’s low calories, inconsistent workouts, high stress, or years of dieting without recovery phases.
So if your body feels like it’s holding on to everything, or you’re not seeing changes even though you’re “doing all the right things,” it’s probably not that your body is failing you. It’s that the systems are out of sync.

Maybe your stress is high and sleep is garbage.
Maybe your workouts are intense, but sporadic; ot
Maybe you’ve just been stuck in a deficit for way too long, and your body’s saying “nah.”
The good news is that you can always realign your inputs. It just takes the right strategy and patience, because when you give your metabolism what it actually needs — structure, food, recovery, consistency — it stops fighting you.
