You are not broken - You are not weak - You are not who you were yesterday - You are who you want to be today.
Alexandra (Lexi) is a client of mine whom I’ve been working with for nearly 4 years. She is a First Responder in Miami Florida and an Elite Level Strongman Competitor. She is a Mother to 2 boys and a Wife. She is a Daughter and a Friend. She is also a Business Owner.
Notice how I put capital letters on all those things?
That’s because they are all roles that Lexi has taken on in her life. That’s a massive responsibility that brings with it the need for aggressive prioritization.
In our 4 years together, we’ve dealt with injuries, emotional eating, binge restrict cycles, thyroid dysfunction and other health concerns and I’ve seen her perform at her highest levels and be at her most emotional lows.
The thing about Lexi that you need to understand is that whenever she’s been in a position where her values have been challenged - like those low times - she never accepts where she is.
Over the last 6 months, I have seen a physical transformation, yes, but I’ve seen a mental and emotional transformation as well. She made a choice every morning to be the woman she wanted to be and THAT is what allowed her to see the results she is seeing.
Nothing we did was fancy… and I’ll tell you exactly what we did… even though you won’t believe me.
She drank 5L water per day.
She ate 800-1000g fruit and veggies a day
She ate 175g protein per day
That is ALL SHE DID for the first 5 out of 6 months. She trained with her coach Michael De La Pava (@thebattleaxegym) and she lived her life.
The final month, we got more specific and started tracking macros and the ONLY reason we did that is because she decided she wanted to compete in strongman and meet the 181 weight cap as a challenge to herself.
These results are possible for each and every one of you who thinks it’s too hard - it’s NOT!
These results are possible for each and every one of you who thinks they aren’t worth it - you ARE!
These results are possible for each and every one of you who wants to be the best version of themselves every day for the rest of your life - you DESERVE THAT!
Lexi competes next weekend at Miami’s Baddest Strongman Event and I could not be more excited for her to crush it and then continue living her best life in the body SHE EARNED.
If you want to be the best version of yourself, I know some people who can help. Book a call with me or one of our coaches at www.masterathletic.com. We’d love to help you reach your health and fitness goals.
